FRMV Crane Hoist Winch 183269 2007-10-22  
     The purpose of this RFP announcement is to identify potential Offerors for the FCS Recovery & Maintenance Vehicle (FRMV) Crane Hoist Winch design & development efforts. Interested parties should indicate their interest and provide contact information to BAE Systems so they may receive an RFP package. The Crane Hoist Winch is a key component of the FRMV crane subsystem, which will perform functions such as: (1) Provide heavy lift assistance during field maintenance, (2) Recover mired FCS vehicles, and/or (3) Upright overturned vehicles. The Crane Hoist winch will be an electrically powered winch which will be mounted on the crane. The subcontract will be for design and development of prototype winches which meet the unique FRMV requirements. Compact size and lightweight materials are essential for the design of the Crane Hoist Winch in order to keep the weight of the FRMV within the required limit. Common Crew Station Display 182717 2007-09-07  
     The Final RFP is scheduled to be released August 20, 2007. The purpose of this Draft RFP announcement is to identify potential Offerors for FCS Crew Systems Display design & development efforts. Interested parties should indicate their interest and provide contact information to BAE Systems so that they may receive an RFP package. The display is a key common component of the MGV subsystem, which conveys text, graphical / real-time video information and data to the vehicle crew during normal and adverse operations. The Display will include user input via a touch-screen (for manual entry). Weight, size and functionality are critical to the vehicle systems success. The subcontract will be for design and development of displays which meet the unique MGV requirements. Compact size and lightweight materials are essential to keep the weight of the MGV within the required limit. M240 Remote Operation Kit 182359 2007-07-30  
     Remote operation will be achieved with a M240 Remote Operation Kit (ROK), which performs the functions of a traditional gun control unit. The M240 ROK shall provide means to remotely and manually fire, charge, and safe a M240 machine gun. All powered components of the M240 ROK shall be electrically powered.
